Delete your account

You can delete your You&Me account and its data yourself, from inside the app. You do not need to email anyone or wait for approval.
- Open the Us tab.
- Tap Couple settings.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- The screen lists exactly what will disappear and what will remain. Confirm to proceed.
What gets deleted
If you are alone in your space
Everything is erased: your profile, your wishes, plans, tasks, polls, time capsules, calendar events and important dates, your loyalty cards, and every document and file you uploaded. Your sign-in account is removed as well, and the copies of files stored on your device are wiped.
If you are linked with a partner
Your profile and your membership of the shared space are removed, your sign-in account is deleted, and the copies of files on your device are wiped.
The shared archive itself stays with your partner. This is deliberate: the documents, plans and cards in a shared space belong to both of you, and leaving should not let one person erase the other's papers with a single tap. If you want the shared content gone as well, delete the individual items before you delete your account, or ask your partner to remove them.
Is it reversible?
No. Deletion is immediate and permanent — there is no restore. Save anything you want to keep before you confirm.
